SIMTOS

The Korea Machine Tool Show SIMTOS was sponsored by the Korea Machine Tool Manufacturers Association and received strong support from the Korea Ministry of Science and Technology, Gyeonggi Province, SME Central Committee, Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Korea Trade Association. Founded in 1984, the Korea Machine Tool Show is held every two years and has been successfully held for 18 times. It is a representative exhibition of the Korean production materials industry. SIMTOS has been awarded the “Brand Exhibition” of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and the “Growth and Hope Exhibition” of Gyeonggi Province. All the important decision makers in Korea gathered together.

As the only world-renowned machine tool exhibition in Korea, SIMTOS leads the development trend of the world machine tool industry. Its scale has surpassed Japan's East JIMTOF Machine Tool Show, one of the traditional four machine tool exhibitions. In 2016, more than 800 companies from 33 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with an increase of 11.3% in the exhibition and 32.5% in the exhibitors. The organizer guided the visitors in advance to avoid excessive crowding or dispersion of visitors, so more than 10,000 people negotiated every day during the exhibition. Exhibitor satisfaction was 86.8% and visit satisfaction was 96.1%
