Russia Pumps, Compressors and Accessories Exhibition PCVEXPO was co-sponsored by the Russian Pumps, Valve Manufacturers Association and related professional associations, the British ITE Exhibition Group, and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Science and Technology and the famous chambers of commerce and associations in Russia and Europe. The exhibition is held once a year. In 2017, a total of 4,500 square meters of exhibits were exhibited. 167 companies from 10 countries participated, with 3,632 professional visitors from 31 countries. 66% of the visitors who came to the exhibition had the right to make purchasing decisions, 51% of the visitors were interested in purchasing the products and 31% of the audience found new suppliers and business partners. According to Russian customs statistics, from January to May 2017, the import and export volume of Russian goods was US$219.0 billion, an increase of 29.0% over the same period of the previous year (the same below). Among them, exports were US$137.73 billion, up 30.5%; imports were US$81.27 billion, up 26.5%. The trade surplus was US$56.46 billion, an increase of 36.6%. In the month of May, Russian imports and exports of goods were 46.80 billion US dollars, an increase of 30.4%. Among them, exports were 28.19 billion US dollars, up 27.2%; imports were 18.61 billion US dollars, up 35.6%. The trade surplus was 9.58 billion US dollars, an increase of 13.5%. From January to May, the import and export volume of Russian and Chinese goods was US$31.08 billion, an increase of 36.9%. Among them, Russia’s exports to China were US$ 14.85 billion, up 40.9%, accounting for 10.8% of Russia’s total exports, up 0.8 percentage points; Russia’s imports from China were US$ 16.23 billion, up 33.4%, accounting for 20.0% of Russia’s total imports, up 1.0 percentage point. From January to May, the trade deficit between Russia and China was 1.37 billion US dollars, a decrease of 15.2%. China is Russia's first source of deficit.
As of May, China is Russia's second largest export market and the largest source of imports. The demand for pumps, valves, compressors, actuators and accessories in Russia is increasing year by year. Russia's fast-growing market economy and its fast-growing Sino-Russian trade will provide a broad space for Chinese businessmen entering the Russian market.
