The history of the agricultural machinery show, which will be held for the 33rd time, starts from the Free Market Exchange and Sales Meeting held in front of the Tokachi Kaikan Hall in 1947. It later became the Animal Power Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, and then the All Hokkaido Agricultural Machinery Show. From the 19th show held in 1967, it became the National Agricultural Machinery Show. The scale was gradually expanded and more and more people came to the show from around Japan year by year. Since the 25th show held in 1982, the Show has been held every four years. Since the 30th show held in 2002, the Show has changed its name to the International Agricultural Machinery Show in Obihiro, having exhibitions from inside and outside of Japan and drawing many visitors.
